Iowa law states that I inform you that Intuitive Portraits and Message of the Heart sessions, or Animal Communication Sessions are for entertainment purposes only.

All information shared in the Message of the Heart website, in the Message of the Heart Animal Communication sessions or lessons, and during Sharen Martinson's Intuitive Portraits with Message of the Heart after loss sessions by telephone or zoom, any e-mails, text conversations, lessons, meditations or energy sessions are meant to facilitate communication and well-being of you , and/or your animal.  All discussions, question and answer sessions, references to other modalities are meant to provide information only, not recommendations.  At no time is this information provided meant to be a replacement for mental or medical care, veterinary treatment, or a medical diagnosis for illness or injury.  Sharen does not diagnose mental or medical issues, offer mental or medical advice, prescribe drugs, or perform surgery or treatment physically or by any energetic healing modality, on any animal, or any person.  Please consult a licensed medical or veterinary practitioner for veterinary care, and appropriate medical doctors or mental health professionals for the services you are seeking.

By using this website or submitting a request for an Intuitive Portrait with a Message of the Heart session, or animal communication session, you are indicating you have read and understand this Disclaimer, Terms of Agreement and Release Form as a term and condition of proceeding with any of the sessions, lessons or recordings or having an animal communication with Sharen Martinson.   This statement is accepted by you as a contractual agreement in making an Intuitive Portraits with a Message of the Heart after loss connection or an animal communication appointment, or using any information on this website:  I understand that Sharen Martinson is not a veterinarian or medical professional, and that the animal communication session or lessons or Intuitive Portraits with a Message of the Heart after loss sessions or consultation, meditation, energy alignment, guided journeys, and/or all services offered on the Message of the Heart website, is not meant to be construed as therapy, or treatment of any kind in any way. Any session or communication or other services do not take the place of professional therapy for me, or behavioral training for my animal, or take the place or give advice on medical care, mental health treatment, or any/all of my, or my animal's or my own, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual issues.

I hereby release and hold harmless Sharen Martinson from liability due to accident or damage to self or animal, and/or personal property, and from loss of property resulting during or after said Intuitive Portraits with Message of the heart after loss session, animal communication session/consultation/energy alignment/meditation, animal communication lessons, guided journeys, et al, in the following of any suggestions, information, instruction or information given by Sharen Martinson or any of her products or services. I hold harmless Sharen Martinson for liability for my own person for any and all aspects of an Intuitive Portrait with Message of the after loss session. I understand and agree to wait at least six months after loss for a session, and to not request a session if I am currently under any psychiatric or mental treatments, or medical treatment.  I acknowledge all sessions are for entertainment purposes only.

I, as owner, or agent of the owner of any animal, or animals, communicated with by Sharen Martinson, at my request, agree to have this communication/consultation/session/lesson, guided journey, for animals, or an Intuitive Portrait with a Message of the Heart, or Intuitive Painting.  I acknowledge I am not a minor, being at least 18 years of age.  By my requesting an Intuitive Portrait with a Message of the Heart session, Intuitive Painting, or an animal communication session, or said participation in the session, by telephone or zoom, I understand I may record the session or receive one if Sharen offers.  Sharen may provide a recording.  I agree to observe the copyright of any recordings for my sole use only, and to not post them on any social media platforms or give away to any other proprietor. All other products and services posted on Sharen's website are subject to copyright and cannot be recorded or distributed without permission. I give my consent and agree to all the terms of this disclaimer, terms of agreement and release form above.

Sharen offers her quick sketch on-line intuitive portraits with a message of the heart sessions free.  You may give a donation AFTER your session to assist Sharen in retirement, if you wish.  You may choose the amount to donate. For any intuitive paintings or art commissioned to be completed before a scheduled appointment, the donation amount will be agreed upon in advance before the work is begun.   Sharen Martinson is not a non-profit organization and as such your donation/gift is not tax deductible but given as a personal gift. Use of this website, Intuitive Portraits with a Message of the Heart, or Animal Communication sessions or lessons, Guided Journeys, or contacting Sharen for any type of session serves as my acknowledgement that I have read, understand, and agree to all the above information, including the privacy policy page with the disclaimer of warranties.
