Continue to Quiet
Continuing on from lesson one where you began to learn to take a few moments to relax through tensing different muscles from top to bottom of the body with deep focused breathing.
Then leaving behind worries and cares in the Letting Go Box to relax in a calmer space with some gentle breathing.
After doing the Lesson One exercise continue on by adding Lesson Two below in the same session.

Lesson TWO: Quieting the Mind
Intention:
To deepen your calm, quiet your thoughts and open your heart through the energy of gratitude.
Why It Matters:
When the mind is busy, it becomes hard to truly listen - to yourself, to nature, and to the quiet messages animals share.
Gratitude is a powerful way to shift from thinking to feeling.
As you focus on gratitude, your energy softens, your heart opens, and your inner chatter begins to fade.
In this peaceful space, connection starts to become clearer and more natural.
The Exercise: Breathing Gratitude
1. Prepare Your Space
Return to your relaxed space through Lesson One relaxation, breathing, and place your Letting Go Box outside your space.
Allow yourself to settle in comfortably free from distractions.
2. Counting Down the Breath
Take a slow, deep breath in, and exhale gently.
Begin to count down from five to one, inhaling and exhaling slowly with each number.
With every count, feel your body relaxing more deeply.
* Five - Breathing in calm
* Four - Breathe out tension
* Three - Feel your shoulders soften more
* Two - Let your thoughts drift away
* One - Rest in Stillness and quiet
3. Feeling Gratitude
Now bring to mind something you truly feel grateful for - it may be your animal, the peace of the moment, or the simple gift of life.
Let that feeling of gratitude fill your heart. Allow the quiet power of gratitude to grow stronger as you focus on your heart.
4. Sending Gratitude Through Your Body
Gently send that energy of gratitude throughout your body - to your head, your shoulders, your arms, your chest, your stomach, your legs and your feet. With each breath, feel the warmth of gratitude flowing through every cell.
5. Rest in the Energy
Rest quietly in this energy for five minutes as you are aware of the soft coming and going of your breath. Notice the peaceful glow within you.
This is the quiet of your heart - the space where true connection begins - with your animal and with your own self.
